I'm sorry. I left for the glamour of a 40" display and the low cost of the cable company DVR. Slow response, lack of control, replacing the unit every three months for new hard disks. Enduring 5 copies of every episode of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody because it doesn't recognized duplicate episodes. The show guide only having 2 days content. I miss you, Tivo. Please take me back.

I loved my Series 2 Tivo and then got an HDTV. I decided to give the cable companies DVR a chance, but it just doesn't compare. Their equivalent to Tivo's Season Pass doesn't have nearly the same options. On top of that, the box has audio cutouts and after a software update it stopped recording the scheduled shows. It looks like I will be getting a Tivo HD soon.

HD service shouldn't be left alone! It needs a buddy like the TIVO HD DRV with TIVO HD service. Better than DVD, way better than VCR! Set it and forget! Only needs a simple click of the remote, no more going through menus and menus to set-up ONE show! TIVO HD DVR is here to the rescue!

My 50" big screen, aka "Big Boy" and I are in love with HD programming. If only there was a way to manage all that booty. Well, here comes Tivo HD! Its love at first click, if you know what I mean. In 2001 I was in 50 car pile-up. The accident left me unable to work ever and has left me with RSD in my whole body. I am in the worst pain you can imangin. becasue of this I can not watch a TV show at one sitting. The TIVO has allowed me to Enjoy TV again. I can stop it when my gives out and pick up watching a show later. With out TIVO I would not be able to watch TV. I love you TIVO.

I just can't help it. It seems to happen every night as I lay in bed I just think of you. I love you HD and I love watching you when no one's around, but we have hit a void in our relationship, this void of standard DVR is such a sad thing. Oh HD how I long for the day we can be one with our DVR.
