Seeking a long term, mutually beneficial relationship with a HD Tivo. Current DVR partner is unresponsive, plagued with delay (up to 5 seconds), regularly misses appointments, has a remote so complicated that I always push her "buttons" the "wrong way" and has a UI in need of a complete makeover. LMK if interested and we'll consummate this transaction asap.

There is an empty hole in my soul that can only be filled by a TiVo HD. My wife is great she is my partner but she wont let me have one. They are too expensive and there are so many other things that we need. So for now, my dreams of watching, recording, enjoying, and loving all of my HD programming on my own terms is just a dream.

My 50" big screen, aka "Big Boy" and I are in love with HD programming. If only there was a way to manage all that booty. Well, here comes Tivo HD! Its love at first click, if you know what I mean. If you think you have what it takes then strut your stuff and show us what you've got under the hood of that sleek black box. Oh, by the way, we loves that cute little tattoo on the front cover. SEXY!

U were a part of my life 4 so long. I was a fool to listen to DirecTV. There is no one else like u. We talked the same language. U learned my interest & now I am misDirected. Viewing is no fun without u. We have grown apart. U have changed & there is a lot I need to learn. I want the organization in my life that only u can bring. Give me a 2nd chance-I am lost without u!

I'm sorry. I left for the glamour of a 40" display and the low cost of the cable company DVR. Slow response, lack of control, replacing the unit every three months for new hard disks. Enduring 5 copies of every episode of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody because it doesn't recognized duplicate episodes. The show guide only having 2 days content. I miss you, Tivo. Please take me back.

i can only dream of being able to record my favorite tv shows in crystal clear hd but thats what makes life worth living is dreams

My new HDTV is without the perfect HD DVR. My dream DVR would provide excellent picture quality on HD channels as well as non-HD channels and record my favorite shows. It would also have to be willing to look up new shows for me. I would also like to enjoy music from an online database of say... 4 million songs with my DVR. If this sounds like you, I'd like to push your buttons.

Having a TIVO is smart when you live in a housing area that the electricity goes out when it rains. Using a standard recorder is thw worst. You get home and think you're going to see Desperate Housewivs BUT the electricity went out and messed up the timer. BUT with TIVO no problem you've got your show!!!
